BJJ Fundamentals
For beginners and anyone sharpening the basics: position, escapes, control and the first submissions.
The European Grappling & Jiu-Jitsu Federation (EGJJF) was established to serve the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community in Europe. Its goal is to help members and participating schools improve their BJJ and selfdefense skills.
Due to the close association and longstanding contact of the founders of the EGJJF with Master Rickson Gracie, the programs, seminars, training and curriculum of the federation are entirely focused on the style and philosophy of Rickson Gracie. The chairman of EGJJF, Harold Harder, is the highest-ranking black belt under Rickson Gracie in Europe.
EGJJF is, among other things, responsible for belt testing, organizing BJJ seminars and inviting world-class instructors to come and share their knowledge with us.

Our approach
At Partisla Jiu-Jitsu, we recognize the value of sport BJJ, but our approach goes beyond competition. Rooted in the principles of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, we emphasize self-defense, technique, control and efficiency rather than relying primarily on physical strength or competition rules.
Competition can be part of your development, but it is not the ultimate goal of our system. Our Jiu-Jitsu is suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, regardless of age, gender or previous martial arts experience. Whether you train for self-defense, competition, personal growth or simply the enjoyment of learning, our approach offers a martial art you can continue to study and refine throughout your life.
